Crappie for Dinner!
Filleting such a small fish may seem like a lot of work but it’s worth it. Crappie is a solid white fish and goes well with anything. We only keep the fish over 10 inches, producing some very nice fillets.
Once all the filleting and skinning is done we simply roll them in egg and fish crisp and do a traditional fish fry. There is no better meal than fresh fish you just caught and cleaned yourself.
